Sima Festival 2025 – Wintering Together

Ksan Society’s 9th Coldest Night of the Year campaign

When: Saturday, February 22, 2025

Time: 4:00 pm

Where: Meet at Suwilaawks Community School

This campaign has grown a lot since 2017 – but the purpose remains the same: helping those experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness during the coldest months of the year. ‘Ksan’s shelters and outreach services see a spike in demand for shelter, food, and warm clothing during the winter months, and shelter occupancy goes beyond capacity as people seek refuge and support. Funds raised through CNOY help us meet this increased demand.

How can you help? Join CNOY! Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly event. Walkers collect donations (it’s online and easy!) that go towards cold weather programming in Terrace. On Saturday, February 22nd, we will walk together, along with other communities across the country to show our compassion and commitment to supporting community members in need. Hand will be cold but hearts will be warm as we walk, talk, and finish the night off with hot chocolate and a bowl of soup.
