A good vacation often means relaxing with a good book or taking in local performances. Terrace is home to the Terrace Public Library where you can find books, electronics and the popular Library of Things – members can even take out day passes to Shames Mountain in the winter! Keep your eye peeled for theatre, live music, stand-up comedy performances and more.
Terrace Public Library
Located at George Little Park, the Terrace Public Library is a safe and welcoming environment that fosters a love of reading. In addition to lending books, the library also boasts a ‘Library of Things” which allows members to borrow items such as musical instruments, recreational equipment, and kids’ educational toys. There is also a 3D printer available.

The R.E.M. Lee Theatre is Terrace’s largest performing arts venue. The 702-seat auditorium hosts professional and amateur theatre, recitals, special events and more. The theatre includes dressing rooms, audio and visual services, sound tech and more.

Tillicum Twin Theatres is a longstanding cinema located in the heart of Terrace’s downtown. With two big screens, the theatre features new releases and hosts special events and features independent films and festivals. Available for private rentals.

The Terrace Little Theatre Society is a non-profit theatre organization with a long history of providing quality theatre to the community. In fact, it is the longest continuous-running theatre group in BC. The organization has been putting up quality community theatre performances since 1953.
