Originally from Ontario, the mountain culture captured his heart, prompting a move westward. After years in the bustling outdoor tourism scene of Whistler, he sought the serenity of mountain life with fewer crowds, leading him to Terrace, where he now proudly calls home. Since 2018, Chad has played an active role as a Tourism Terrace Board member, sharing his passion for this remarkable place with all he encounters.

Leydi Noble

Office Administrator, Terrace Division at Allnorth Consultants Ltd

Leydi Noble has been a party planner just about her entire life. Growing up on a small, tropical island on the Gulf of Mexico, Leydi was habitually involved in countless festivals and other lively gatherings. After relocating to Terrace in 1981, her drive to foster excitement within her new community led her to volunteer her skills through the organization of local events. While honing her craft, Leydi felt compelled to extend her passion into a full-fledged career, and in 2016 she took charge of her destiny by launching her very own event planning business- a feat that brought the entrepreneur to complete and utter contentment. “I’ve always had a passion for hosting and creating fun vibrant events-,” says the event planner. “and after being called upon to plan a few friend’s weddings, I found a passion I could move into a source of income.” For Leydi and countless other entrepreneurs in BC’s North the popular saying rings entirely true, ‘if you do what you love you’ll never work a day in your life.’
